The annual meeting of the freeholders of the Twin Creeks Conservancy District will convene at
2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The meeting will take place at the South Haven
Branch of the Porter County Library System located at 403 W. 700 N., Valparaiso, Porter
County, Indiana. Three directorship positions will be up for election at the annual meeting. Each
of the Incumbent Board members have filed nominating petitions to continue on the Governing
Board. No other candidates have filed nominating petitions and as such there will be no
contested election for any position. Incumbent Board member Dean Efantis represents the Old
South Haven directorship area. His uncontested election will be for a full four-year term on the
Governing Board. Incumbent Board member Mike Jacob represents the New South Haven Area
directorship position and will also be sworn in for a full four-year term on the Governing Board.
The third candidate is Incumbent Board member Theresa Dixon representing the Salt Creek
Commons Directorship area and will be sworn in for the two years remaining on the unexpired
term to which she was appointed.
At the annual meeting, the TCCD Governing Board will elect from its membership a
Chairperson and Vice Chairperson. All freeholders are encouraged to be in attendance at the
annual meeting and will be given an opportunity to speak on any matters related to the function
and operation of the conservancy district.
